Spencer Private Hospitals take part in “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” in aid of MacMillian

Date: 29/09/2015

We took part in the “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” in order to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. The staff made a number of cakes and also got involved with a “Spot the Cake” competition in order for people to make donations for the chosen charity. Across the two sites at Dover and Margate we raised £399.74.

Daniel Harper who is the Marketing Assistant at Spencer Private Hospitals has said “Macmillan is such a worthy cause and they do some incredible work. It is estimated that every day 25 people are given the news they have cancer and by 2030, there will be 120,300 people living with cancer in Kent. The money that we have raised will help support vital local services for these people.”

“The staff really got involved and the cakes made were something that Mary Berry would have been proud of!”
