Qualified in Medicine at the University of Lagos and completed my post- graduate training in Birmingham and London in Diabetes and Endocrinology.

Dr Joesph was the R.D Lawrence Research Fellow in Diabetes at the Kings College School of Medicine and Dentistry, London, where he carried out crucial research work into hepatic and renal glucose counter-regulation during hypoglycaemia in humans.  

Dr Joseph was appointed Consultant in General Medicine/Diabetes and Endocrinology in 2001.
