Our self pay treatment prices

Spencer Private Hospitals are registered with most health insurance providers but we also offer the option to self pay for your treatments. This can sometimes be quicker than going through your health insurance provider and most of our private Consultants often can see you within seven days.

At Spencer Private Hospitals, most of our treatments and procedures are available to be self funded and we can provide you with a formal quote before making any decisions on your next steps.

What is a guide price?

Before you request a formal quote, you will be able to see what we would expect a typical patient having some of our most popular operations would pay. This is not a fixed price or a formal quote but is an indication of the minimum costs for your operation.

Your personal formal quoted price

Our guide prices are intended to provide an indication of the typical cost of treatment. The final price may vary depending on your individual clinical needs, the complexity of your procedure, the Consultant you choose and whether any additional tests, scans, implants or treatments are required, such as:

  • Which Consultant or Specialist you choose

  • Your medical history

  • If an extended length of stay is required

  • The complexity of your procedure

  • The type of prosthesis you choose or that your Consultant advises is best for you

What is a formal quote?

By requesting a formal quote, you will receive a quote that covers your planned operation, inclusive of all Consultant and Anaesthetic fees. This will be valid for 30 days from the date of issue and the price will not change within these 30 days, giving you the flexibility to consider your options and look at planning for your upcoming operation.

How do I pay?

If you are self paying for your treatment, we will ask you to pay up to three working days before your admission date.

We accept all major credit and debit cards as well as direct payments into our bank account.

Full details of how to pay will be on your formal quote letter.
