Mr James is a Consultant Specialist Hand and Wrist Surgeon with more than 25 years of clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the hand, wrist and elbow. He provides expert care for patients with arthritis, nerve compression syndromes, tendon disorders, trauma injuries and complex reconstructive conditions. He is experienced in both minimally invasive and open surgical techniques and is committed to delivering personalised treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and lifestyle.

His specialist interests include hand and wrist arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren's disease, trigger finger, wrist instability, tendon injuries, fracture management and upper limb trauma reconstruction. He also performs a wide range of injection therapies and advanced wrist arthroscopy procedures. His approach focuses on restoring function, reducing pain and helping patients return to work, sport and everyday activities as quickly and safely as possible.

Following qualification in London in 2000, Mr James has dedicated his career to the assessment and treatment of hand and upper limb conditions across South East England. Over the last 25 years he has developed extensive expertise in managing both routine and highly complex hand, wrist and elbow disorders.

His practice encompasses the full spectrum of hand surgery, including arthritis management, nerve decompression procedures, trauma surgery, tendon reconstruction and wrist preservation surgery. He treats patients across both NHS and private practice settings and is recognised for delivering safe, evidence-based care in accordance with the standards of the General Medical Council.
