Background Information
After graduating from Oxford University in 2009 and University College London Medical School with distinction in 2012, Mr Bloch completed his ophthalmic training in London.
His training included a three-year clinical fellowship at the renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital and Institute of Ophthalmology, funded through the Wellcome/EPSRC Centre for Interventional and Surgical Sciences. During this time, he was awarded a Doctorate in Medicine in Disorders of the Vitreoretina in 2023.
To further refine his expertise, Mr Bloch undertook advanced fellowships in both medical and surgical retina at St Thomas' Hospital, London, and Bristol Eye Hospital.
He is highly skilled in managing a wide range of conditions, from routine macular hole and epiretinal membrane surgery to complex, high-risk cataract procedures and vision-saving retinal detachment repairs. He utilises the latest technology to ensure the highest standard of care.
