Mrs Katerina Roussou is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon specialising in Glaucoma and Cataract Surgery. She provides expert care for patients with glaucoma, cataract and a broad range of general ophthalmic conditions.

After graduating from Democritus University of Thrace Medical School in Greece (top 10% of class), Mrs Roussou began her ophthalmology training in Athens before continuing her specialist training in the United Kingdom. She has worked at several leading NHS institutions, including Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust.

She subsequently completed a Senior Glaucoma and Cataract Fellowship at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust, developing expertise in the diagnosis and management of complex glaucoma. Her practice encompasses the full spectrum of glaucoma care, including laser treatments, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), trabeculectomy, PreserFlo MicroShunt surgery and glaucoma drainage devices. She also performs routine and complex cataract surgery, with a particular interest in refractive cataract surgery and premium intraocular lenses.

Alongside her clinical practice, Mrs Roussou has maintained a strong commitment to education and academic development. She completed a Master's Degree with Distinction in Management of Refractive Errors and Refractive Surgery and serves as an Examiner for the European Board of Ophthalmology examinations.
