Dr Kevin Ward BSc, MD, FRCP
After qualifying from Kings College Hospital in 1991, Dr Ward completed House jobs and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in 1994. He proceeded with specialist training, gaining my specialist qualification in cardiology by 2002. Dr Ward was then invited to be a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in July 2008. He received his MD in 2009.

Background Information
Although working as a general cardiologist Dr Ward has a special interest in device therapy and specifically devices for the treatment of life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias (Implantable cardioverter defibrillator) and heart failure (Cardiac resynchronisation therapy). He has a level II accreditation in cardiovascular CT enabling independent performance & reporting of cardiac CT. In addition, Dr Ward is a member of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography.
