Head of Clinical Services
Department: Clinical & Nursing
Location: Based primarily at our Margate site. Post will cover all Hospital Sites.
Salary: £57,249.72-£64,425.49 per annum dependent upon experience and qualifications.
Closing Date: 10th August 2025
Full Time: 37.5 hours per week across a 7 day working rota

Qualifications and Experience
- Registered Nurse or relevant Allied Health Professional with active UK registration
- Degree Level Qualification in Healthcare, Clinical Leadership or related specialty
- Proven senior leadership in clinical services within hospital settings (Private/NHS)
- Deep understanding of Clinical Governance, CQC Requirements/Reporting and Patient Safety Frameworks including PSIRF
- Experience in managing complex multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in development and administration of departmental budgets, management reports and supply contracts
- Inspiring leadership and effective team building abilities with strong change management
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to lead through influence and collaboration
- Strong IT skills and experience using clinical systems
- Ability to demonstrate effective conflict resolution within teams
- Proven experience in effective people management, including leading multidisciplinary teams, managing performance, supporting staff development, and handling complex employee relations issues in line with HR best practice and organisational policy
- Experienced role model to provide advice and guidance to staff
- Caring and approachable
- Owns challenges from identification through to resolution ensuring effective outcomes
