At Spencer Private Hospitals we are committed to keeping our patients and colleagues safe. With the easing of UK Government Covid 19 restrictions, what can you expect when visiting us and how do we safeguard against potential infection risks?
Before your appointment:
- If you are feeling poorly or are displaying any Covid 19 symptoms we politely ask you to not to attend any of our sites and follow the NHS guidance as stated here: Main symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) - NHS
- Please try and let us know as soon as possible in order for us to rearrange your appointment for you by calling 0330 019 4890
Arriving for your appointment
- We ask all patients to come on their own to ensure numbers are kept to a minimum (unless there is a specific need for you to be accompanied) and that any children are accompanied by only one parent
- Please arrive on time for your appointment and not too early in order to keep numbers at a safe level in our waiting areas
- When you arrive one of our receptionists will welcome you, ask you to sanitize your hands and provide you with a new face mask
- We will then take your temperature to ensure that you are well enough to be with us and ask you to take a seat in one of our socially distanced chairs in our waiting area. If your temperature is above 37.8 degrees Celsius then we will take two further readings 2 minutes apart to confirm your temperature for accuracy. If after the final reading it is still above 37.8 degrees we will unfortunately have to re-arrange your appointment for a later date and we would advise you to get an immediate Covid test.
- Our chairs and facilities are wiped down and cleaned regularly throughout the day along with door handles and other commonly touched areas
