Spencer Private Hospitals take part in “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” in aid of MacMillian
Spencer Private Hospitals based at Dover and Margate took part in the “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” in order to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support. The staff made a number of cakes and also got involved with a “Spot the Cake” competition in order for people to make donations for the chosen charity. Across the two sites they raised £138.19. The hospital decided to double the total, so £276.38 will be going to MacMillian.
Daniel Harper Marketing Assistant at Spencer Private Hospitals has said “There are now 2.5 million people in the UK living with cancer. By 2030, it will be 4 million people, and we want to support the great work that MacMillan does. The money that we have raised will help support vital local services for these people."
