This retrospective study included 28 cases of periprosthetic femoral fractures around the total hip, total knee and hemiarthroplasty prosthesis managed using Mennen plating.
Posterior Bone Grafting in Infected Fracture Non Union Tibia. Submitted to Mangalore University, India as part of my MS(Orth) course in Manipal, India.
This is a prospective study of 90 cases on the outcome of bone grafting using Harmon’s approach for the management of infected tibia non-unions. We reported 56.8% success rate and concluded that the procedure is suitable especially for the lower third of the tibia even in the presence of infection and draining sinuses anteriorly.

Mr Reddy is an Orthopaedic Surgeon and Consultant Site Lead at William Harvey Hospital carrying out primary total hip, total knee, replacement arthroplasties, partial uni-compartmental knee replacements and revisions of hip and knee arthroplasty and sports injuries involving meniscal repairs, ACL reconstructions and meniscectomies.
Mr Reddy has been working in the orthopaedic field for 30+ years and has received several letters of compliments and letters of appreciation from his patients and colleagues.
After graduating in 1986 at the Sri Venkateswara University in India, Mr Reddy continued his studies until 1990 to specialise in Orthopaedic medicine in addition to working as an Orthopaedic registrar until 1992.
Mr Reddy took sabbatical leave for a period of three years at University London Hospital as a Locum Orthopaedic Surgeon having wide exposure with this being a tertiary referral centre gaining good experience with complex primary and revision arthroplasties.
Mr Reddy started working at William Harvey Hospital in 1992 and has since progressed to the role of Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Benenden Hospital and Clinical Lead Orthopaedic Surgeon at William Harvey Hospital where he has been in his current role for 21 years.
Mr Reddy has completed more than 350 joint replacements which include total hip replacements, total knee replacements, uni-compartmental knee replacements, revision total hips and total knees.
In addition to joint replacement surgery, Mr Reddy also performs extensive soft tissue work in the form of arthroscopies, meniscal repairs, meniscectomies and AC reconstructions. Apart from general trauma, Mr Reddy does total hip arthroplasties, as well as hemi-arthroplasties for fracture neck of femur, distal and proximal femoral replacements for peri-prosthetic fractures, complex proximal humerus fractures, ankle fractures.
Mr Reddy is also involved in managing trauma services and involved in teaching SHOs, Registrars, Physiotherapists, and Occupational therapists on regular day-to-day basis.
Mr Reddy's interests include long distance running and attending the gym.
