Dr Kevin Ward BSc, MD, FRCP
After qualifying from Kings College Hospital in 1991, Dr Ward became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in 1994. He proceeded with specialist training, gaining his specialist qualification in cardiology in 2002. Dr Ward was then invited to become a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in July 2008. He received his MD in 2009.
Although working as a general cardiologist Dr Ward has a special interest in device therapy and specifically devices for the treatment of life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias (Implantable cardioverter defibrillator) and heart failure (Cardiac resynchronisation therapy). He has a level II accreditation in cardiovascular CT enabling independent performance & reporting of cardiac CT. In addition, Dr Ward is a member of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography.
Dr Konrad Grosser PhD, MRCP
Dr Konrad Grosser works as a consultant cardiologist at the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital in Margate and at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford. He completed his general cardiology training in 2004 in Maastricht, the Netherlands and has worked at consultant level since 2004.
Dr James Rosengarten MBBS, DM, MRCP
In addition to the common problems of chest pain and breathlessness, as a cardiac electrophysiologist Dr Rosengarten has a particular interest in patients with irregular heartbeats, palpitations, SVT, atrial flutter, fibrillation, and tachycardia. He is the only cardiologist in the region who offers curative ablation for those procedures.
In addition, he manages patients who need heart monitors, pacemakers, ICDs and defibrillators.
